Course Structure
The full-time course
leads to The Certificate In Christian
Leadership and runs for 9 months between
October - June each year. These 9 months
are split into 3 roughly equal length terms
with holidays at Christmas and Easter.
The
following is an example of a typical week
at Destiny College
Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
8:30am - 1:00pm
Thursday
This day is free for work or study as
students require. No classes on Thursdays.
On
occasion, students are required to attend
classes and/or events outside of these
hours. While these hours are designed to
allow students to work part-time if they
so wish, students are expected to be fully-involved
in church life outside of these hours and
to give quality time to private study.
The
course is designed around 3 basic modules
Knowing
God
Knowing God’s
Word, Character, Ways and Purpose
This
module includes:
Bible Overviews - A series
of modules providing students with a firm
grasp of both the Old and New Testaments.
Hermeneutics – Correct
biblical interpretation and how we got
our Bible.
The Kingdom of God – Study
of where God’s great plan is going!
Includes study of the Kingdom Parables
that Jesus taught showing the conflicts
and triumphs that his Kingdom brings.
Church
History – Study of the unfolding
journey of the church from the Book of
Acts to the Present Day.
Life of Faith and
Prayer – Outlines
and presents a practical approach to the
basic principles of faith, the authority
of the believer, and provides keys to victorious
living.
Doctrine of God – Examination
of the major doctrines of the Christian
faith. Aims at building a firm foundation
of truth in students lives and future ministry.
According To The
Pattern – Study
of essential, basic truths including Baptism
in Water, Baptism In The Holy Spirit, The
Church, Heaven and Hell and much more.
Prayer
and Intimacy with the Lord Jesus – The
knowledge that you acquire at Destiny College
must work in tandem with a close and personal
relationship with Jesus. Everything must
flow out of a living, intimate walk with
Him.
Leadership
How to Make Things Happen...with
others!
This module includes:
Laws of Creation – How
can you make a vision a reality? Leadership
qualities that work anywhere!
Practical Leadership – Public
speaking, preaching and effective communication.
Financial integrity and increase, worship & music
ministry.
Ephesian 4 Ministries – Apostles,
Prophets and others & their role in
today’s church.
The Book of Nehemiah – An
in-depth examination of leadership in action.
Looks at a functioning apostolic company
and the teamwork required to make things
happen.
Teamwork and Human
resources – The
correct use of leadership and how to handle
authority correctly.
Sent and Commissioned
“Go into all
the earth...”

The Power, Presence and Anointing
of The Holy Spirit
Pioneering and Church Planting
Conference & Event
Management
Effective Evangelism – Proclamation,
Affirmation and Demonstration
The Healing Ministry
Social Action Ministry – working
with the homeless and addicted.
Counselling – what
is Biblical and what is not!
Principles
of Growth – how to see any God-birthed
project grow!
Please note: Other topics are also
covered and the curriculum is subject to
change and /or modification at the discretion
of the college without prior notice.
Costs
The Full-Time
course fees are £1500.
An enrolment fee of £30 is payable
upon application and the balance is payable
during your time at the college. The balance
can be paid all up front at the start of
the college year, in 3 installments at
the start of each term or monthly by standing
order. Paying up front carries with it
the attraction of a 5% discount whereas
spreading your payments incurs a small
premium.
